The best ones in the competition, after the first week

The first week of challenge has gone by. By now, we have observed 2 leaders emerging, whose return rates exceed 300%. The third place goes to the contestant whose return rate slightly exceeds 200%. There is still plenty of time till the end of the challenge, so today we wish to show you how the best ones trade.

Nick: ASADUL 350,42%

The leader trader is ASADUL, who managed over 350% profit, which means that his balance increased from the initial 10 000 euro to the current 45 000 euro. The mentioned trader, did as little as 7 transactions, however highly effective ones. 6 of those transactions were profitable, placing the trader’s accuracy at the level of 86%, pretty impressive right? The best position, increased the wallet’s worth by 13 000 euro, while the only losing one decreased it by 985 euro. This clearly shows how Asadul allows the profits to grow at their own pace, while closing the losing positions fast.

The leader focused only on the USDJPY couple, and consequently profits through opening long positions only. Has our trader spotted a trend? It appears that on the USDJPY chart, there is currently a sideways trend ruling, allowing the trader to profit on the short-timed upward movements. The mean time of one transaction is 10 hours and 32 minutes. Such a high profit is a result of accepting the high risk on each transaction. Almost all the positions are worth around 20 lots.

Nick: EdvinasP 348,74%

The vice-leader is right behind, with a return rate of 348,74%. However, the activity of this trader is much more frequent. During the same time, the trader carried out 35 transactions on currencies, with GBP/USD topping (12 transactions), followed by USD/JPY (10 transactions), EUR/USD (6 transactions), AUD/USD (4 transactions) and USD/CAD (2 transactions).

EdvinsaP closes the positions much quicker than the leader. Mean duration of an open position is around 4 hours. The accuracy of this trader is also quite high - 76%. Out of all the trades, as much as 26 were ended with a profit. Vice-leader uses the Take Profit function, which has closed 3 of the trader’s transactions successfully.

Nick: Tanveer 200,74%

Over 200% return rate is still very impressive, however in order to win, this trader will have to work on the accuracy, which is currently at the level of 57%. Out of 14 transactions carried out during the first week, only 8 have been profitable.

High return rate paired with a low accuracy means one things, losing positions are being closed fast and do not cause serious damage to the assets. The highest loss of the trader, decreased the wallet only by 169,58 euro, while the best one increased it by 8996,85 euro. The biggest amount of work here, was done by opening positions on oil, which carried the trader to the current, high profit.
